Dear Members,
I am writing to you to explain changes the Executive Committee have made to the registration and subscription paying process for 2008.
In the interests of easing the mundane load on the Treasurer, Ash, all subscriptions should be paid directly to me. When aligned with the registration forms it makes it much easier to reconcile the membership and subscriptions. The subscriptions are the same as last year:-
- Full Playing Members
- Student (Full time 16 - 23) & long term unemployed
- Social Members

This brings me to the registration forms. It is in your interest to complete and return the forms so that we have a record of not only who you are but where you are and how we should contact you. If we don't have your contact details the chances are you will not be kept informed of club activities. It is a club requirement that all members complete a form. The forms will be sent out, either by e-mail, placed on the website (downloadable) or by post during March with the Chairman's welcome letter. Our registration evening is on Friday 18th April at the Club.
Finally, as constituent members of the County Ground Club we are bound by their decisions on those areas that they have responsibility for. Car parking is one of those areas. Car park spaces are let commercially during the working week and unless you are one of those companies / people that pays you can only use the car park Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm when on official club business or playing sport. That has not changed. What has changed is that permits will only be issued to Life Vice-Presidents, Life Members, Full Playing Members, Student Members, Club Officials, Club Coaches and Team Managers. I can only issue them after subscriptions have been paid. I will issue them to Life Vice Presidents, Life Members and Club Officials in the next few weeks. We will be recording the permit numbers allocated to each member and passing that information to the County Ground Club.
Social Members, however, will not be issued with car park permits. This does not mean that you cannot park your car at the club whilst watching or participating in matches or club activities. Of course you can and you will be most welcome, as always.
