Best Batting A 36 ball, 0 not out v Ilford, 3rd XI, 26th August 2000. We were 'chasing' 301 and ended up 36-8 thanks to a marvellous 14 over rear-guard by my brother and myself during which we were constantly sworn at and verbally abused. Feel free to ask me for a ball-by-ball run through in the bar! And best of all it meant Ilford got relegated!
Worst Batting Vs Hainault & Clayhall, 3rd XI, 10th August 2002. Going in to face the last ball of the match with 6 required to win. Having missed the ball I decided to run the 6 instead. I'm convinced I could have done it, but Ash wasn't backing up and the 'keeper already had the ball.
Best Bowling 8-56 v Hainault & Clayhall, 4th XI, 11 August 2001. Before I'd taken a wicket, their umpire (who was also their captain) told me I was trying too hard and that I should stop trying to bowl too fast. I took his advice and we bowled them out for 99.
Alternative Best Bowling 6-39 v Walthamstow, 4th XI, 7th June 2003. My first haul bowling leg-spin.
