Brentwood CC Colts Welcome Pack 2011

Hello Everyone

As you may have noticed, this email has not come from Julie. I have volunteered to take over some of the Colts admin for her. So please excuse any mistakes!!

I hope you all had a good winter and are looking forward to some great cricket, especially after the Ashes win! - Welcome back for the 2011 season. I would encourage you to register by post as this makes it easier to deal with for us but we will also hold a Social evening on Friday 18th March when you can register in person if you wish. A number of you have asked whether it is possible to sell on your outgrown kit and the 18th March will be your opportunity and if you would like to make a donation to the club out of the money you make all the better! Warsop will be attending the registration evening. They will be able to measure and advise, on new equipment needed for the season, ensuring the correct size is purchased.

Training will commence week beginning 18th April. We are aware that this means that the first Friday training session will be on Good Friday and the second will be on the day of the Royal Wedding but we have cup competitions beginning as early as 1st May so we need to get our training underway.

Click on the links to download the following attachments:

  1. The 2011 welcome pack which tells you all you should need to know - please do take the time to read it as it contains important information that you should be aware of before joining. Please also let me know if you think there is anything missing so that I can update for future years.
  2. The 2011 Registration Form - to be completed for ALL members, 1 per child registering, regardless of whether one was completed in previous years.
  3. A consent form covering photography and changing rooms - to be completed for all members (one per family is acceptable) regardless of whether one was completed in previous years.
  4. A consent letter allowing U13 Colts to play adult cricket. Non receipt of the letter will automatically rule your child out of playing adult cricket. Conversely the receipt of the letter does not guarantee that your child will be selected - the team captains will make selection decisions. Children in school year 7 and below are not eligible to play competitive league senior cricket.
  5. 50/50 club forms - This is a great way to support the club and also be in with a chance of winning cash as well. If interested, please return the completed standing order form to your bank (not to me!). Alternatively, you can set up a standing order over the internet. I would be grateful, if you could let me know, if you decide to join the 50/50 club.
I look forward to seeing you all soon

Thanks

Gill Bell
