  5. There will be a supervised break for lunch between 12:00 and 13:00 - please provide a packed lunch each day

  6. Please park on the back pitch when picking up and dropping off.

  7. Both hard and soft balls will be in use during the course and all players under the age of 18 years must wear a cricket helmet and protective pads when batting or keeping wicket when a hard ball is in use in both match and practice conditions. If you are unable to supply such equipment your child will not be able to carry out the above activities when hard balls are in use. The youngest age groups will mostly likely use soft balls for the majority if not all of the activities.

  8. Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately - the English weather can usually be relied on to cover every aspect within one week - especially this year!

  9. If your child brings/wears studded cricket boots, please also ensure that they bring trainers as well for use on the artificial net surface or in the event of moving indoors.

  10. The staff are not allowed to apply sun cream to children so please apply before leaving home. Please also send a cap/sun hat and plenty of fluids.

  11. Please do not bring valuables - the staff cannot be held responsible for loss of such items.

  12. Good behaviour is expected and the club reserves the right to remove from the course any child who persistently misbehaves or who has a disruptive influence on the other members of the course.

  13. No money will be refunded in circumstances such as the inability through illness or injury of a child to participate, or though the partial curtailment of any changes to the course through bad weather or any unforeseen eventuality. However, should inclement weather force the cancellation of one or more days then the club will review the situation.

  14. All head coaches are qualified to instruct cricket. They have all been CRB checked and have taken a course in first aid.

  15. Parents/guardians are welcome to as spectators at any time during the course. You are particularly invited to attend the final ceremony on Friday afternoon when certificates will be presented.
